Moving and Handling and Basic Life Support (including anaphylaxis) Courses completed in one day.

Successful candidates will receive 3 certificates at the end of the day - the Moving and Handling Certificate, Basic Life Support Certificate, and Anaphylaxis Certificate.

This BLS course will look at the latest guidelines by UK Resuscitation Council (2021).  The course incorporates the latest research and techniques in a practical and engaging way. It includes CPR in adults and paediatrics,  the use of defibrillators, choking, and also Anaphylaxis with practical use of Adrenalin Autoinjectors (Epipen and Jext).

This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely move and handle people in a variety of settings. By the end of this course, you will have the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of individuals in your care, while also protecting your own health and well-being. LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON PATIENT TRANSFER TECHNIQUES?

This course is designed for band 2 healthcare workers who wish to upskill to band 3. This intensive one day course will cover both venepuncture and clinical observations, covering all six parameters and also including NEWS 2, peak flow, urinalysis and using an inhaler. Candidates will have the opportunity to practice and develop these practical clinical skills through hands-on training and simulations.
